Maternity Must Haves: 5 Picks For Week 18

I have to be honest here – not much has changed for me since last week. But in an attempt to be consistent, I’m going to highlight some goodies that I cannot live without.

A Baby Story – I’ve started to watch all sorts of baby programs. In fact, I can’t get enough of them. My husband has started to retreat to the bedroom and leave me alone on the couch. He’s actually gotten in a ton of sports games during the last few weeks. So, he’s as happy as can be.

A pedicure. Those are not my feet by the way. My toes have Wicked on them. I treated myself after not getting a pedicure for 4 months. Let’s just say that woman worked for her tip. And I’m sure her arms were sore in the morning! LOL.

Body Lotion - You are starting to stretch! So, be sure that you have body lotion and USE IT. I”m allergic to all the butters (shea, cocoa etc). So, I have to pick a lotion that is clean and one that won’t upset my allergies.

Shower Scrub – Even though I am drinking more water than… ever, my skin is still dry. I exfoliate with a shower scrub twice a week. I desperately need it and I love the way it leaves my skin feeling. Indulge at home ladies!

Reheat-able Food: Sorry if this offends you, but I am TIRED and don’t always want to cook full meals from scratch. I went to Trader Joes and stocked up on items that just need to be heated. It’s perfect for those days when I need a break.

  • sounds good to me :)

  • Vera,
Do you have any suggestions for an EASY to apply eyeliner? I’m makeup challenged to say the least, and need something that glides on smoothly so I don’t get raccoon eyes!
    Thanks,
    Vicky

    • Do not use liquid! Go for an eyeliner from Elf. I use that brand and it doesnt give me any problems. Stays in place. Also consider putting on a base on your eyelid before putting the eyeliner on. It will set it. ;)

I was going to say you have pretty toes! Lol reminds me I need a pedicure too!
I think reheatable food is your friend at this point. And you got it at TJ. How bad can it be?
Are u still on bed rest?
Hope you are keeping your spirits up!
Blogging question? Does it matter when ur content goes live? Curious. Sometimes I just don’t post anything :(
