It can get very boring for the kids to hang out at home with me all week / weekend long. Bill has been trying to get these two out the door as often as possible. On Sunday, the three of them headed over to Hicks –  a local nursery that puts on quite a show for Halloween. It’s all free (except for the hayride) and it’s a great way to get into the Halloween spirit.

Besides having a great walk through of animated spooky fun, there are rooms and rooms filled with spooky decorations. Of course, they wanted to buy it all – but that’s not the point of this adventure. They got that after a while.

Like I said – the hayride is one part of the day that you have to pay for – but it’s so worth it. The ride is several minutes long and it features characters ranging from Spider-Man to Vampires to SpongeBob. Not so scary. Great for the kids.

Then there was an animal section. My kids picked up all the seeds from the floor and fed the goats. Bill was so impressed with how innovative they were. He wouldn’t give them money to buy seeds – so they found their own. LOL

Then as if that wasn’t enough – Bill took the kids to a local Halloween shop and had them walk around for a bit. Great day!! So glad he took so many pictures. I’m posting a bunch on this post, but Bill came home with 144 shots for me to check out. I felt like I was there!!
