Forget the Hanes-related stereotypes of that you may have: your grandfather’s starchy crewnecks or your mom pulling her nylons up to her neck. Hanes and its related brands – Playtex, Bali, Wonderbra, Champion – are back and, well they were never really gone, but now they are better than ever.
Here are some hits from the Hanes brands Fall 2012 and Spring 2013 Collections:
Hanes has done it. They have created what are by far the blackest, most opaque tights I have ever found. I promise you – these are practically leggings. For Fall 2012, in stores now, the Blackout Tights are offered in both Convertible (can be wore at the ankles or under the foot) and Boot Liner (with a ribbed foot to prevent slipping inside a boot) options. They even come in a thigh high version!
The Hanes Fall 2012 tight collection also includes on-trend floral, geo and chevron (as pictured below on the legs of the very friendly PR rep Taylor McPherson) styles.
Ok, so don’t totally forget about your mom’s nylons just imagine them on a less where-is-the-clear-nail-polish-I-gotta-fix-a-run lady. Hanes is offering several different skin tone shades and all are run resistant. I promise you – no holes!
Playtex is also offering up some new styles that give Victoria’s Secret a run for their money.
Though you can never forget the tried and true (as pictured below) – still going strong and breaking hearts after all these years.
I thought this was a cute group below – with high-waisted 40s style undies and mix-and-match solid bras – all from Playtex Spring 2013 Collection.
The below is also from Playtex ‘s Spring 2013 collection and it looks like a contender for strapless Bra of the Year.
Bali is also still running and now updating their classic bras and underwear along with their bestselling wireless styles – great for everyday use or even as a sports bra sub when in a pinch.
Oh, and look what is also better than ever – the good ole Wonderbra. Do you still dare to push it all the way up to there?
There will always be room for those crewnecks and tanks and who doesn’t need more of those sorts of basics. Besides, no one will ever do them like Hanes.
I am always partial to a colorful display so I thought the Champion collection for Spring 2013 was a big hit. Is this neon trend here to stay?
Obviously, there is something for everyone here. Though I have to say the Hanes Blackout tights were my personal fave find.
