My family sounds a lot like yours, Vera. Between my wife, my son, and the fact that I work nights at DISH, my shows rarely got recorded on our old DVR. Now we have a DISH Hopper that records up to 6 shows at a time; we never fight about TV anymore and I finally get to go home and relax with my favorite shows.
