Newyork.com launches with a soiree, Maria Menounos, Jane Krakowski and the Bacon Brothers @newyorkcom #welovethiscity

Nothing makes me happier than celebrating New York City. Don’t challenge me on that but few things come close. I went to the launch party for newyork.com, the official website of this glorious city. Maria Menounos hosted the event and Jane Krakowski MCed to a crowd of media and industry insiders who all have a bit of a crush on the Big Apple. The party was amazing. The Heathens (appropriate, right?) kept the crowd moving and the Bacon Brothers made a surprise appearance.

    Good afternoon:

I am a Long Island, New York businessman who is climbing into the boxing ring for the benefit of the charities supported by the Long Island Fight for Charity.

In addition to fighting I am also fundraising and in that capacity I have tried to reach out to some of the celebrities who so enthusiastically supported Hurricane Sandy relief.

One of the LIFFC charities, the Long Island Community Chest, helps those in dire and immediate financial distress which includes some of those whose lives were devastated by that monster storm.

If you would like to learn more an article about my mission was just published in an online boxing publication here (http://goo.gl/NptA7).

After, if you are so inspired and can pass this story along to any of your contacts in the hope that they might get involved or at the very least donate in some small way it would be greatly appreciated.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me. Have a great weekend.

    Mike
