Avoid Stressful Headaches This Back To School Season With Excedrin PLUS Enter To Win This Month’s Prize Pack HERE!

Excedrin Back to School

According to a recent survey by the makers of Excedrin44% of parents say they expect to get a headache during the back to school season. And if I can be frank… I think that 56% of you all are lying! I would bet my right arm that a headache will be brewing for me during that first week of school. HANDS DOWN NO QUESTIONS asked. There’s just so much to do and with three kids of my own… a few things ALWAYS fall to the waist side.

Take last year for example, my second child was heading to Kindergarden and I was pregnant with my third. It was a very crazy time for the entire family and somehow we forgot to get Liam’s medical forms in order. Needless to say, we were scrambling the day before school started to get to the doctor to have it all sorted out. Thank goodness my friend happened to mention that she did the same exact thing in passing to us because it was the reminder we needed for Liam.

If we hadn’t had that simple conversation, Liam would have missed his first day of school and I would have regretted it for the rest of my life! Bill and I were pretty much in a panic until all of the papers were in order and then I couldn’t calm down until the nurse had the packet in her hand.

Even now – just thinking about the whole mess is elevating my heart rate. LOL!

Excedrin realizes this is a stressful time for all parents and is currently running a contest on Facebook I wanted to share with you. The “Help Your School Excel with Excedrin” sweepstakes can be accessed by visiting Facebook.com/Excedrin. Five lucky winners! Parents just have to name at least one thing that might cause a headache during the back to school. Um… easy!

Want more info on that Exedrin survey?? I have a few more statistics I thought were fun to share:

According to a recent survey by the makers of Excedrin®, more than one-third of parents* cite getting themselves (41%) and their children (43%) back on a schedule at the top of the list of things that might cause their headaches during the back to school season.

In addition, more than one-third (35%) of parents* say shopping for school supplies might give them a headache. With all the pencils, folders and notebooks, parents should remember to put Excedrin® on their back to school shopping list.

According to a recent survey by the makers of Excedrin®, a large majority of parents (85%) think their schools are in need of new or upgraded supplies such as pencils and paper and computers or software and gym/sporting equipment. And that’s because with every purchase of Excedrin®, parents can enter for a chance to win $10,000 for their child’s school.

  1. I always have trouble getting my middle child up, ready, eat something and out the door. She is not a morning person at all. Hopefully this year will be better.

  2. The kids went back to school last week but will be getting out early next few days due to heat.

  3. I don’t have many stories. I know I spend a lot of time battling in the school aisle over supplies!

  4. we take pictures of the kids on their first days

  5. Right before school once, my oldest just knew she wanted a hair cut. I did not approve but she went behind me back. Well it took about an hour for her to realize why I never cut her hair. She has very curly hair and without the weight of long hair to pull the curls down, she looked like she stuck her finger in a light socket. Needless to say that was the last haircut she got. Only trims for her from then on.

  6. My kids are all grown now but I still have nightmares about getting the three of them up and out the door on time for the bus lol!

  7. My kids started back to school on Aug 5 but I worked the first day. My husband got them to school the first day.

  11. I can remember getting all new supplies and clothes. I used to constantly take everything out of my bag the days leading up to school and writing my name on all my stuff. Then picking out the night before what I’m going to wear. I also used to love the smell of my new crayons. Lol

I don’t have any stories, as my oldest just started Kindergarten.

  15. i always cry the 1st day when i drop her off!

  16. My kids are homeschooled year-round, so we don’t really have “Back-to-School”. We do have a goal to be ready for the next grade at the same time that everyone else is going back to school though. We almost made it this year. My middle son is about 10% shy of being one full grade ahead of his age group, so we are really proud of him!

The first day…it’s always exciting and scary. You are anxious to get started and see your friends again, but waiting for the bus seems to take forever.

  18. It was always so difficult to purchase school supplies the day before school! Although it certainly was exciting!

  19. I always look for awesome pens, notebooks, and planners that help me WANT to use the supplies. It’s less of a chore that way.

  20. I loved walking my daughter to the front steps of her school when she started kindergarten.

  21. Back to school is usually an easy time. I always take a picture of my girl on her first day of school.

  22. We always take pictures the first day and I usually have them a little happy for their first day of school morning

  23. We had just moved to a new town the year I started 7th grade. Mom overslept on the first day, so I showed up late, looking ratty and totally flustered, but somehow ended up making a bunch of good friends that day.

  24. The nightmare when my daughter got on the wrong bus? Always make sure they know to stay on bus and let the driver know
