I mentioned yesterday that I was on a press trip and away from my little ones but didn’t get into full detail because I didn’t have enough time to get into the nitty gritty. I’m in Cincinnati with Pampers! This year, I was invited to be part of the Pampers Blogger Board and this is their annual trip to P&G headquarters. Am I excited? You better believe it! You know that I live and die for P&G … don’t get me started.
It all started off on the right foot. While waiting to board my flight I ran into one of my favorite blogging buddies Jill from GlamaMom. We immediately went to the desk and demanded we sit next to one another. Delta complied thankfully. Of course the one time I DON’T want to be upgraded… DELTA UPGRADES ME to first class. UGH! I just pretended it didn’t happen and took my old seat so I could chat with my friend. Luckily, no one claimed it. The plane was half empty anyway. We literally talked the entire time. I was happy – happy.
After a quick ride to the hotel, I we drove to our
way cooler than me swank hotel and found our way up to our rooms. On my bed was a few bags of goodies. So much fun! Besides an entire bag of candy (OH MY WORD) and a FAB mustard colored camera bag there was an amazing customized charm bracelet with my children’s initials and…
Dry Bar goodies. Notice that I am dying over the Dry Bar goodies. I practically levitated. I’m always in the market for a great comb and the shower cap couldn’t have come at a better time. My children took my old one and started using it as a bath toy. It stretched out and is now unusable. It’s been on my AGENDA to buy a new one… like that was going to happen. So, thank you Pampers!
And can I mention the random body parts that are all throughout the bathroom? I cracked up when I saw the way the duck was looking at the boob. Horrified.
Nice line of body care products too. Always appreciate a hotel that offers up an interesting selection.
My group had an hour to relax and then we were whisked away to get our hair done at a local salon and have dinner at an amazing steak restaurant. I sat with some women that I’ve known for a while and we had great conversation the entire night. Yesterday was really all about getting here and getting settled. Today we are heading to the offices to start the tour and the main focus of this trip. I will take lots of pictures to post tomorrow.
