Munchkin Event Celebrates Launch Of New mbaby Collection And Latch Bottle

mbaby2Momtrends recently hosted a wonderful event celebrating the launch of the new mbaby layette collection and Latch bottle. Surrounded by adorable babies in outfits too cute for words, I had the opportunity to check out some precious baby apparel, learn about the wonderful benefits of the Latch bottle, and engage with other moms as I piggybacked off their wisdom as I prepare for my own journey into motherhood.

I couldn’t resist the beautiful outfits for little boys and girls in the new mbaby layette collection. They were soft, made of durable and quality materials, and weren’t over the top in its cutsie design. I love baby clothes, but I’ve come to realize that not all of them are created equally. Some are scratchy, while others are just plain hideous. I love how the mbaby collection doesn’t try to over-do it; it’s just simple goodness, and complements the baby’s beauty, not overtaking it.

One of the coolest features about this collection was its versatility and convenience. The breathable material allows for easy button snap matching (for those of us who aren’t always 100% coordinated with button line-up), and your little one can grow into it with a little more longevity because there’s the option to have the closed toe bootie on the onesie, or a rolled cuff pant for when they outgrow it. Check out more from this darling collection on the mbaby Munchkin apparel website.

The Latch bottle was perhaps one of the most exciting products to check out at the Munchkin Event, due to its innovative design that closely mimics the sensation of breastfeeding, as well as reducing symptoms of colic, gas, and all that fussiness with the Anti-colic Valve on the bottom of the bottle, ensuring that air bubbles do not travel through the milk. The design was created to assist mothers with reaching their breastfeeding goals. It does so by offering an accordion-style nipple base that flexes in all directions, helping babies latch easily and successfully. It also closely mimics the mother’s breast, where baby controls the flow of milk by applying pressure at the base (this way they’re also not getting milk too easily, so no situation of frustration is created when actual breastfeeding takes place). The Latch bottle is intended to serve as an assistant to mom, complementing her feeding routine, and offering seamless transition between breast and bottle, and vice-versa. The Latch bottle will be available in May 2014 on Munchkin.com, Amazon.com, Diapers.com, Target.com, and Babies “R” Us retailers everywhere, in variety pack sizes between $9.99-$34.99. You can visit www.latchbottles.com for more details.
