Celebrate Summer Travel & Father’s Day with Mosaic Photo Books #MosaicMoments

Mosaic, creator of the world easiest and coolest photo book app, gathered us at the Soho House for breakfast and a look at how to make the most of your memories for everything from summer travel adventures to Father’s Day.

Mosaic is a mobile app (available on iPhones and Android) that lets you make fabulous photo books right from your phone because, let’s be honest, that’s where all your pictures are anyway. Mosaic  books are known for their trademark “mosaic” cover that features 13 cut out windows showcasing all of the photos in the book (see photo, above). Mosaic photo books are incredibly easy to make and can be done in 5 minutes right from your smart phone. The cost is only $25 including shipping and you’ll have your photo book within 4 days — perfect for last minute gifts that still have the personal touch.

I am personally a huge fan of the Mosaic photo book concept because I take a ton of photos that, despite my best intentions, never seem to materialize into anything more. Somewhere between uploading the photos to my computer, uploading them to a website where I can make a photo book and actually laying them all out I get pulled away by work or life and the photo book never materializes. Now with Mosaic, I can actually put together cute photo books on my phone when I have a few down minutes waiting in line or in a long cab ride and voila! memories managed.

The first thing we all noticed upon entering the Soho House was the absolutely gorgeous table settings by Hollywood Pop Gallery, a full-service event and party planning company. Hollywood Pop Gallery paired brilliant bold blues with gorgeous patterned greens to give the whole room a vibrant party vibe and the mosaic vases that held bouquets of hydrangeas were a subtle but brilliant nod at the event’s organizer, Mosaic photo books. A great takeaway tip from Hollywood Pop Gallery when setting your own table the summer, a collection of shells scattered artfully around the table gave the whole event a subtle summery vibe without adding a lot of tall centerpieces that make it difficult for guests to talk across the table to one another.

The first order of business (after oohing and ahhing over the gorgeous table decor) was to pick out a Le Sportsac tote and zippered pouch. I was already a big fan of Le Sportsac because their bags are incredibly durable and cute but I absolutely adore all of the fun prints and colors they have out for summer. I opted for the Tuileries Travel Tote (pictured above, right) which was one of the clear favorite prints of the morning, but there are so many cute prints out in May and June that it was impossible to find a bad style in the bunch and selecting our favorite was truly the most difficult part of our morning. The fabulous Tuileries design comes in the full range of Le Sportsac styles including the absolutely adorable Ryan Baby Bag, which has now moved to the top of my must-have baby gear covet list because it perfectly blends functionality for all the baby necessities but is still incredibly stylish for the fashionista who didn’t stop loving cute bags just because she had a baby.

A great bag is a must have item for summer travel, and the functional styles and chic prints from Le Sportsac make them the perfect choice whether you are trekking around Europe or just slipping away for the weekend to hit the beach.

As if fabulous bags weren’t enough to get us excited, the event also showcased the ultimate summer travel accessory — leggings by 20Legz20Legz is a Brooklyn-based company that creates high-quality fashion forward leggings all for the amazing price of $20 a pair. Coupled with the company’s $5 flat rate shipping you have no excuse not to stock up on these cute designs like the Machete, the Flora, the Knee Patch and many, many more and make all your summer travel packing a snap.
