Bringing A Little Kinder Joy To Your Holidays

This post was created in partnership with Kinder Joy.

Tis the season to sing holiday tunes, enjoy sweet treats, and make lasting memories alongside your loved ones! I have to admit, we are currently living in my favorite time of the year. There’s just something so magical about walking into your home and seeing every room decorated with love and care. My children feel the same exact way, too! The festive lights, the adorned wreaths, and a touch of holly can bring anyone out of a bad mood. After all, how can you not smile while listening to Christmas carols or sipping on a creamy cup of hot cocoa?

This holiday season, we have something new to celebrate. I’ve teamed up with Kinder Joy to help announce the brand coming to our local market. Kinder, one of the most popular chocolate brands in the world, is finally coming to the US with the launch of Kinder Joy!  Are you already a fan of this delicious treat? I bet your children are. My three have been loving these goodies for several years now. They’ve been to Europe a few times and we always make sure to find Kinder Joy when we are over the pond.  So, when I brought home a few eggs for them to enjoy, needless to say, I was greeted by some happy campers.

Kinder Joy is a treat like no other. It’s a delicious treat on one side and an exciting surprise toy on the other, bringing a whole new level of surprise for parents and kids alike! The eggs are super cute. When you first open them up, you aren’t sure where you are going to find what – so the anticipation will certainly get you! My kids didn’t know if they were more excited about the sweet or the toy! In the end, they were so happy that they didn’t have to choose.

Kinder Joy comes in a plastic egg-shaped packaging that is comprised of two separately sealed halves. One half contains two soft creamy layers – one milk-crème flavored and one cocoa flavored. Nestled into the creamy layers are two round, chocolate-covered wafer bites that are filled with sweet cocoa cream. This is all to be eaten with the included spoon. The spoon makes it so easy to take this treat on the road with you. If you are heading to the park, to grandma’s hour or down the road to the mall, everything is included in the Kinder Joy Egg. Easy as pie… I mean chocolate-covered wafer bites. LOL!

For the past 50 years, the Kinder brand has been bringing parents and children together by offering them delicious and joy-filled moments to share. With a tradition as long lasting as that one, I thought that I’d incorporate it into some of my own holiday plans. This year, I included a few Kinder Joy Eggs into some of my decorations around the house, so when the kids come home from school, they can treat themselves (with mom’s permission of course) after a hard day’s work.

I used a small ice bucket and filled it with gold and glittery balls. Then I topped the setting with a handful of Kinder Joys – just enough for all three of my kids. This ensures no arguments can be had over any overages. 🙂 Moms think ahead, right?

What new traditions are you planning on introducing to your family this holiday season? Will Kinder Joy be a part of the fun? Remember Kinder Joy is now sold at your favorite stores. It’s all about the simple joys of childhood. And even as a mom, I can say that I relish in those experiences as well.

Happy Holidays!

My Son loves Kinder Joy Eggs. They are a great treat with the bonus of a toy. I like to use them as stocking stuffers.

This sounds like such a fun treat. I had not heard of them before reading your post. I love that one side is a treat and the other a 'prize' so to speak. It is always fun to start a new tradition.
