I finally got a pair of Reebok EasyTone sneakers! Here’s a confession that is going to blow your mind… I haven’t bought new sneakers since Sophomore year of HIGH SCHOOL! Yes, I am a woman in my 30s still wearing the sneakers I used to bring to GYM CLASS. I know – it’s bad.

But since I started being (semi) interested in the gym, I thought why not get all the help I can get? Reetone promises to work out your glute muscles 28% more than if you weren’t wearing the sneakers. Yes, I have them on right now. Yes, I am going to find a way to incorporate them into evening wear.

So, what muscles are targeted? Butt – hamstrings – calves

Do you feel a difference immediately? No, but the studies prove that the magic is working.

What does it feel like? It feels like there is an extra ball under your foot (which Reebok calls a pod). The ball is designed to create “natural instability” with every step making our legs work harder to walk. But not to the point of exhaustion.

Any celebrity fans? You better believe it! Ashlee Simpson, Rosario Dawson, and Anna Kendrick are just a few names that have backed the EasyTone sneakers.
Have you tried them out? What do you think?

Oh Vey! These calorie and fat counts are so HIGH. How can a chicken burrito and chips be 1,700 calories! I can’t stand this!! Here’s Dr. Oz’s top 6 meals to avoid at all costs:

1. Breakfast Sandwich (Eggs, sausage and cheese, wrapped in a giant pancake. Plus butter, syrup, ketchup): 973 mg of cholesterol.
2. Chicken Burrito and Chips: Nearly 1,700 Calories.
3. Fish Encrusted in Parmesan Cheese with Side of Spicy Rice: 3,300 mg of sodium.
4. Pepperoni and Meatball Pizza (Full pizza): Approximately 953 grams of fat.
5. Pasta with Breaded Shrimp: 196 Grams of Carbs.
6. Ice Cream with Mix-Ins (Candy, brownie bits, sprinkles and sauce) : 1,344 Grams of Sugar.

I’m not big on dieting. When I had both my children I ended up going on Weight Watchers and had amazing success. However, it’s HARD to resist the sweet goodness of life… especially when you have kids who keep getting invited to birthday parties! LOL!

According to Dr. Oz, if you cut 100 calories a day that you can lose up to 10 pounds a year. That’s doable right? I can omit a can of soda during a meal or that handful of M&Ms I always reach out for at the end of the day.

Here’s some other examples how you can cut the count.

1. Swap regular soda (97 calories in an 8-ounce can of Classic Coke) for water.
2. Trade your morning latte (a 16 ounce with whole milk can have 220 calories and 11 grams of fat) for coffee with reduced-fat milk (15 calories, 0.6 grams fat) or black (4 calories, 0 fat).
3. Have a cup of watermelon chunks (46 calories) in place of a bag of Sun Chips (140 calories, 6 grams fat).

Not bad right?
