1) It’s a duo product. On one end, there’s a daytime serum and on the other end, there’s a nighttime serum. When I hear combo products, I instantly think that it means less spending for me. Instead of having to buy a night cream and a day cream, I get both in one. Score!

Ok people — as IF you need another thing to do in your life… I KNOW! But I’m about to tell you about something that YOU HAVE TO DO. The kids went bananas today. BANANAS! And it was over NOTHING. Something so simple and fun. I’m talking – pin trading at Disney.

Here’s my advice: hit up eBay and get yourself a starter kit. Buy a bunch of really cheap pins and bring then down with you during your next Disney trip. Then let the magic begin. The majority of the cast members around the parks all have pins to trade and your children can go up to all of them and do a little bartering.

We started with about 10 each – I don’t think you need more than that. They spent the WHOLE DAY looking for people to trade with. Hollywood Studios was FILLED with cast members just ITCHING to trade. We ended up with some really cute ones too.

In the end, I bought Natalie and Liam one pin each to remember this trip by – a Star Wars one for Liam and an Everest Roller Coaster one for Natalie. They both wear their lanyards proudly!

Do you have an active little girl who won’t leave the house unless she’s in a dress? Well, I DO! A dress doesn’t stop Natalie from flipping upside down at the park – that girl has no problem showing off her underwear (regardless how many times I tell her it’s wrong).

Gillette Venus hosted a lovely bridal shower for bride-to-be and supermodel Chrissy Teigen at the Top of the Strand in New York City. I had the pleasure of attending and it was such a fun event. From the cupcakes with razors on them to Chrissy’s funny personality, the Top the the Strand was the place to be. Dr. Jody Levine, who treats Chrissy, was also on hand to ask her some bridal questions and talk skin health. Chrissy’s mother was also present and shed a few tears while watching her girl.

Chrissy helped Venus launch their newest flavor, the Gillette Venus & Olay Sugarberry razor. Chrissy loves the convenience of not having to pack shaving cream AND a razor. The best part is that now it comes in this delicious flavor! To help her get ready for her big day, Chrissy will be packing this essential since she just announced that she and John Legend will be having a destination wedding. There’s a few things in life we all take for granted. Sleep is absolutely one of them. My third child has taken away that privilege from me and I now understand what a beautiful thing a full night’s rest can be. 

8 hours of uninterrupted rest? A memory if you will. I’m lucky if I get three. And if you are a woman, you will empathize with my next statement. Just because I go to bed doesn’t actually mean that I fall asleep. My mind races. It’s almost impossible to turn off at times. There is just so much to do – all of these checklists that are forever building and multiplying. My husband – on the other hand – can place his head on his pillow and pass out in a matter of minutes. Seriously, HOW DOES HE DO THAT?

I’m not going to be able to solve the genetical differences between men and women today. But I will tell you about a short fix – an immediate solution if you will. Are you looking for one night of uninterrupted rest? Do you just want to give your body a full night to recharge so you can face your life at 100%? Are you afraid to dive into prescription medication in fear that it will become habit forming. Then you sound a lot like me.

In celebration of mothers and daughters everywhere, Disney welcomed Merida from Disney∙Pixar’s Brave, into the Disney Princess royal court over Mother’s Day weekend. The special ceremony to honor the brave and passionate princess was hosted at the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort in front of Cinderella Castle. I was front and center with my family and the rest of the Social Media Moms group and BOY were we excited… especially Natalie. I mean… this is MERIDA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The party started off with British singers and TV personalities of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” Sophia Grace Brownlee and Rosie McClelland, who celebrated their inner princess by performing an original song on stage.  I tried to catch part of their song on video. Here’s what I got:

Then Merida was welcomed on stage by the entire Disney Princess court, and was crowned by her mother Queen Elinor.

Well, almost everyone in this photo is looking at the camera – so that’s a score! I guess that’s the new rule for my larger family. Take what you can! LOL

Last night the family headed out to Wilderness Lodge for a Pirate Party on the beach with Hanes and the rest of the Comfort Crew. I’ve been in Disney for the last three days with 8 fabulous families enjoying everything Hanes and Disney. The kids are in their glory. We had a chance to meet Mickey and Minnie (in full Pirate garb) and even were serenaded by real pirates! Ok… really funny pirates. How is that?

Kids looked for buried treasure while hubby and I enjoyed the sunset. It was a wonderful night had by all.

Then as a SUPER surprise – Hanes took us over to Hollywood Studios after the park closed and let us ride some of the staples including Toy Story and Rock N Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith. No lines. NO PEOPLE. Just our small group going on the rides and taking pictures. INSANE! I tried so hard to be the high score for the night but I lost by at least 100,000 points. DOH!

Today we start another adventure. I’m charging my phone as we SPEAK.

The family and I are currently in Disney with Hanes and on a pretty tight schedule. I promise that I will start posting on a more regular basis SOON ENOUGH. But today and tomorrow will be very light and airy.

I’m taking LOTS of pictures though. So be on the look out for some fun DISNEY coverage including the official ceremony where Merida claimed her spot as one of the Disney princesses at Walt Disney World (and the moment when my daughter swam with Sophia Grace and Rose).
