I had a chance to preview new Sephora products before they come to stores in May, and this collection is definitely something to look forward to!

The product I’m most excited about is the Color Play 5-in-1, which contains 5 interchangeable color stories such as mix of chic grays and blacks, energetic range of baby blues, pink and yellows, as well as a collection of light mochas and deep espressos. Each of the five trays hold 10 powder eye shadows, 2 creamy lip colors, and 1 powder blush. The value of this palette is $150, but the price is only $29.50!

Another product that stood out to me was EDUN for Sephora eye shadow palette. EDUN is a for profit business that aims to raise awareness of the possibilities in Africa to encourage emulation and all the proceeds from of the sales will go to the Wildlife Conservation Society. The palettes come in two color sets, each containing 6 eye shadows and one blush. The palette is 100% wood.

New Sephora products also include Waterproof Bronzing Kit, Makeup Brush Collection, Havana Summer Bag Collection, first ever hair accessories, Artist Lipstick Palette and much more! What a colorful way to begin summer!

All the products will be available in Sephora stores in May, 2010.

Darryl Jagga’s line, 43.46 aggaj, recently showcased in New York. The collection was a mix of dresses, skirts and shirts in a combination of comfortable fabric. Darryl Jagga loves art and architecture and incorporates elements of both in his work. His inspiration for this season’s collection comes from the landscapes of Iceland. The name of the line, 43.46, is his mother’s and father’s birth years.

Darryl Jagga focused on fitting a woman who wants to be at ease in her clothing. His customer is the modern woman who is aware of the trends and uses them to identify herself. He used color blocking in simple shifts, as well as a generous dose of ruffles and gathers in sleeves.

One particular dress had two layers of ruffles at the waist and the hip, adding interesting detailing to an otherwise simple cap-sleeved dress. With the use of seaming and darts, many of the dresses were perfectly fitted and elegantly draped.

His color palate was a nude mix of grays and beiges with shots of purple, yellow, gold, silver and other colors interjected in dresses and coats. Sequins were also another detail that was well represented. My favorite item was a ruffled skirt that was fitted at the waist. It can be paired with anything and still look elegant.
