Inside The Kitchen: Classic Schnitzel

A BIG thanks to Mona for sending over her recipe for ‘Classic Schnitzel’!!

– chicken breast fillet
– eggs
– flour
– breadcrumbs
– salt & pepper
– oil

Mona’s note: I prefer to make little portions of Schnitzel… You can do as you like 🙂 Those little portions are great for parties as finger food.

Wash and cut the fillets into pieces. Then tenderize.

Now put salt and pepper on it (both sides).

Set up three plates: one with flour, one with stirred eggs and one with breadcrumbs. Turn over the fillet in flour, eggs and in breadcrumbs.

Now put oil in your pan. Don’t let get the pan too hot. It has to have medium heat. Turn the Schnitzel over when you see a golden brown crust on the sides.

Serve with boiled potatoes and asparagus topped with Hollandaise sauce.

YUM! Do you have a recipe you’d like to share? I’d love an invite inside your kitchen!!!
