Field Report: Levi’s Fall 2012 Show #NYFW #MBFW

Levi’s Fall 2012 Presentation included a show, as well as an art installation. Celebs like Brad Goreski, Maria Menounos and Jessica White, were snapped in the front row. The collection was inspired by the ritual of getting dressed.

The clothes included reliable denim done in new ways. Denim with denim is officially back. Whether you wear with with 2 shades of color or exactly the same fabric, this look is here to stay. I also loved that denim was used for a more streamlined blazer. Darker denim is always dressier. Worn as a longer skirt, denim is so chic. I love how it’s paired here with a matching shirt. The Peter Pan collar has been popping up all over Fashion Week. High, more conservative necklines are also a major trend. For those who have been yearning for less skin in fashion, this look is perfect for you.

The female models on the Levi’s runway sported stick-straight locks and most wore almost masculine hats. In contrast, some of the male models rocked full beards and bushy hair. This contrasted with the clean straight lines of the clothing.

The second part of the presentation was an art installation. Here are some of the pieces on display.
