Finally Stopped Strangling Liam’s Plant

Remember when Liam was rushed to the ER? The scariest moment of my LIFE. During his stay, the hospital’s children’s department had him plant a… plant. We’ve been maintaining it ever since. I never want it to die because Liam put it together. In a sense – a beautiful thing came out of a very frightening experience.  Well, for MONTHS the plant has been in the tiny pot it came with and I knew it outgrew the space a long time ago.

I FINALLY bought a larger pot for Liam’s green friend. When I pulled out the plant, I saw roots circling around the dirt over and over again. The poor thing had nowhere to go. It was practically choking! All of the dirt stayed in one place because the roots were literally holding it all together. HOW TERRIBLE!

Either way, I bet this puppy is stretching its legs as we speak! This is actually my FIRST PLANT EVER. My grandmother used to take care of all of our greenery back home. It only took me 30+ years to finally get one for our family.
