Executive Chef Missy Robbins and Godiva Spirits presented an exquisite lunch to us bloggers, featuring the chef’s mother’s signature dishes. This was held at A Voce Columbus. The event was absolutely lovely. It was in celebration of Mother’s Day and each course was accompanied by a delicious cocktail. Yes, I was sipping alcohol in the middle of the day. I couldn’t believe it, either.
If you’re not familiar with Godiva Spirits, it’s alcohol from one of the most decadent chocolate brands in the world. Do I need to write anything more? Chocolate and alcohol. It’s heaven. The liqueur is like liquid chocolate. I felt so sinful drinking it. Each drink was more delicious than the last. My favorite was the Parisian Breakfast. It was smooth and light, perfect for a brunch drink. Check out the recipe for it, below.
