It stinks that it takes Father’s Day for me to acknowledge how great Bill is on this blog. All my friends know what an amazing dad he is to our children because they see it day in and day out. He is my true partner. He gets his hands dirty and really enjoys doing it. We both work from home and I never hear any complaints from Bill when it’s time to jump in and participate.
I couldn’t have asked for a better father to my children.
We aren’t all so lucky, right?
Yesterday, we celebrated Father’s Day with his family at a golf club in town. They serve a mean meal and the kids really love to run around once dessert is served.
Caleb was actually REALLY GOOD – even though he was crying in the ONE FAMILY SHOT WE TOOK! LOL – I swear he was an angel the entire time. Just this one little picture. UGH. So is life.
Natalie’s birthday is TODAY (more on that later). So, we surprised her with ice cream from the staff. They sang Happy Birthday to her and she was SO SHOCKED. She thought it was all about Father’s Day – but we snuck in a little treat for her.
In the end, it was a great day. Bill enjoyed himself which is all that matters. It was HIS day after all. 🙂 I have to do a video of the coupon book we made for him. I’ll shoot that today.
