What was lacking in color and pattern in Taylor’s S/S 2014 was vastly made up for in intricate detail and flawless fit.  The tomboy aesthetic that Taylor is best known for was seen in this collection with clean lines, relaxed fits, and boxy cuts that were still flirty and feminine.  This nod to athleticism was seen over and over again in a relaxed mesh t-shirt dress, perforated leather skirts, and over sized bomber jackets.

Lace detailing, sheer panels, patchwork denim, and mesh layers were the perfect added femininity to what could have been an otherwise casual collection. Over all this collection makes a statement that you can wear effortless casual cool pieces and still look sophisticated and feminine.
