Check Out Barnes & Noble’s Discovery Friday Nov 22nd and ENTER TO WIN: $50 Gift Card

B&N Discovery Friday 2013

Barnes & Noble’s Discovery Friday is a first-of-its-kind, one-day nationwide event (nearly 700 stores) that will offer customers the chance to jump-start their holiday shopping this Friday, November 22nd. I know, I know…how can you possibly fit any more into your Black Friday romps and missions. It will be tough, but I think that this event is something you should fit in somehow, some way. Of course, I love Barnes & Noble, so I may be biased…but hey.

Discovery Friday will feature fun and beginning of holiday season festive events for the entire family including games, giveaways, author and celebrity appearances, special deals and discounted products. On top of all of that, you have the chance to win a $1,000 shopping spree. I’m pretty sure that would help you pick up a few stocking stuffers.

There will be special one-day NOOK® offers and Discovery Friday deals available in-store on November 22 but the main focus for the event is on customers who enjoy the art of discovery and appreciate the human touch. Yes, real help from real people…not a “you might like this” box somewhere on some website. Don’t you miss actually interacting with people? Barnes & Noble’s thousands of knowledgeable booksellers will be on the front lines to offer shoppers complimentary gift advice and personalized picks for even the most difficult to buy for recipients on their holiday lists. Nice.
