The Perfect Thanksgiving Table Setting: Adding The Final Touches With ProFlowers #pfdecorates

ProFlowers Disclosure

thanksgiving_table_decoration_4Thanksgiving dinner is my absolute favorite meal of the year. It is so very special because not only does it have every single side dish that I simply adore, but the day signifies the true meaning of family. I pour my heart and soul into that meal and I enjoy every second of it.

The table decorations have to match the meal, right? There’s no paper plates happening on Thanksgiving! This is one of the few times a year that we really go all out! Sparkling grape juice is the absolute highlight for the kids. What a treat!

And for me? I like to add a few simple touches to the table to really take it over the top without putting in too much effort. Colored water glasses are a really easy way for you add a little personality to a place setting. A mock turkey to act as a stand it always is a great conversation piece for the kids! And fresh flowers are what ties it all together. I chose these pieces from ProFlowers and I cannot tell you how happy I am with my selections. They are simply perfect!!

I had an idea of what I wanted in my head and when I went online to see what Thanksgiving pieces ProFlowers had on their site, I was beyond thrilled!  I don’t have a HUGE table, so I knew that three pieces would be PERFECT for my table. A larger centerpiece as the focal point of it all and then two smaller anchors on the edge of the table. I think that people don’t dress the sides of their tables enough. Think about the people who are sitting at those corners — they will be able to engage with those flowers for a while. Smell them. Touch them. Enjoy them. Then when it’s time to eat, you can clear it all and use the flowers and decorations for another area of the room. thanksgiving_table_decoration

The colors just scream Thanksgiving don’t they? Burgundy, yellow, orange, green. And I LOVE how ProFlowers also includes berries in the mix.

You don’t have to spend a lot of money creating your table setting either by the way. I love to shop the clearance sections of department stores throughout the year. Most pieces are mix-matches and REALLY CHEAP. But you wouldn’t know that once it’s all put together, right?

Try to stick to a color theme (I’m sort of in the beige arena) and just run with it. Add to your collection a little bit each year and before you know it you will be set! It’s so fun once you start a hunt.
