I met Minnie Driver last week and she was so FUNNY and adorable and witty and charming. I can’t say enough good things about this woman, truly! It was during an event announcing a partnership between Claritin and the Rails-To-Trails Conservancy. Rails-To-Trails Conservancy is a non-profit trail building organization that converts unused railroad lines into public walking, hiking and biking trails to build healthier places for healthier people. The makers of Claritin have donated $50,000 to further this mission.

Why did Minnie get involved? She wanted to encourage people to enjoy their time outdoors … even if you suffer from allergies (like she does).

AHEM

Like I do!!

Have you ever heard of the High Line in NYC? My family loves going there! We take our children for a beautiful walk whenever we can. Well, the Rails-To-Trails Conservancy is responsible for that walkway as well as hundreds more across the country. If you have allergies, you know that a walk through some greenery isn’t the easiest thing TO DO! It’s a perfect partnership if you ask me.

Minnie made a funny film to encourage people to go outside and enjoy the spring. Take a look!

How can you help the Rails-To-Trails Conservancy? It’s simple!

Whether an allergy sufferer or not, everyone  can “Be a Claritin Trailblazer” and help  increase donation by liking, commenting  or sharing any posts found on their Facebook community page from April 3rd to June 1st, 2014. For each engagement, the brand will make a $1 donation, up to an additional $10,000, to Rails-to-Trails Conservancy.
