I have to be honest with you – I cried a few times while filming and am very happy that none of those moments made it into the film because I am MESS once in tears. LOL!

I suppose I couldn’t have a mother’s day post without telling you a little bit about my mom and my #DearMom moments. During shooting, I was asked about why I loved my mom and I physically couldn’t say the words because I knew that once I started, I would migraine cry and bawl and the shoot would be OVER. I literally told them that I couldn’t answer their question because it would end the shoot.
But now that I am home and safe behind closed doors, I can answer that question. Why do I love my mom?
Because she persevered for the both of us.
Because she shielded me from the worst.
Because she always gave me an extra hug even when I said I didn’t want one.
Because she unconditionally loved me – even during those horrific teen years.
Because she did her best.
Because she loves my children with all of her soul.
Because she taught me to dance in the rain.
Dear Mom…
Thank you.
And for all the other moms out there looking for a little advice – I have something really simple for you to remember.
Embrace every moment because time is fleeting.
