Joining The Fresh Food Movement

In 2001, my husband and I decided that we would bring two furry babies in our home. They were so very little at the time and instantly became part of our family. Together, Jack and Jill have seen our lives unfold completely throughout the years.

Freshpet Dog Food Review

Every milestone – whether it be the introduction of our three children to the mix or moving into two separate homes and towns – our pups came along for the ride. We were never the kind of people to look at our dogs as just… animals.

They were members of our family – from the very first day. The unconditional love that is felt and reciprocated is like no other. Truly! Because so, we take care of everyone in the house the same exact way.

We make sure we all get enough exercise. We keep our annual doctor appointments, and we also always opt for fresh food when it comes to mealtime. For Jack, the choice is easy. With Freshpet, their number one ingredient is 100% farm-raised meat.

This all-natural pet food needs to be refrigerated! That’s how clean it is. There are no preservatives or additives which I LOVE. Truth be told… the fridge is the only preservative we need. LOL!

Freshpet’s Tender Chicken Recipe for Small Dogs

Freshpet’s Tender Chicken Recipe for Small Dogs is part of the Fresh Food Movement and I love it. Over the last few years, parents have been learning to read the ingredients list for their children and now we are starting to look at those same labels for our pets as well.

Freshpet is the next best thing to a home cooked meal for your pet – simply all-natural meals that are easy to serve straight from the fridge. The one that we are featuring here is called Tender Chicken Recipe for Small Breed Dogs. They are tender, bite-sized morsels and are just the right size for small dogs. Jack is now 16 and throughout his whole life we had to worry about size.

It never changes. Nice to know that this mix not only is physically suited for small breeds but also has the targeted levels of protein and fat to support a small dog’s high energy requirements! And in case you were wondering, they never use any pre-processed meat powders, “chicken meals,” or by-products. It’s all real 100% US farm raised meat as the #1 ingredient. There are no grains, gluten, soy, or fillers.

I have a dog and she's pretty picky about her food. When we run out of our current bag I may see if she likes this! Thanks for the heads up!

That is one cute dog. We don't have a pet but I will share this post with a friend who has 3 dogs.
